I was the Production Visual Effects Supervisor on “La Palma”, directed by Kasper Barfoed, featuring Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Anders Baasmo, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, Jorge de Juan and Alma Günther. I managed and supervised on-set and in post, all the digital visual effects, made by Storm Studios, Gimpville, Haymaker VFX and Varg Studios. We had to create some massive full-CG tsunami water simulations, lava eruptions, land slides, volcanic environments, explosions, plane crashes, sea turtles and more for these challenging scenes.

“La Palma ” is a four part mini series disaster epic from the team behind “The Quake”, “The Burning Sea” and “The Wave”. The series was released globally on Netflix in December 2024. The series also received the Gullruten Award (Norwegian Emmy Awards) in 2025 for Best Visual Effects
