KRISTIANIA MAGICAL TIVOLI THEATER
Directed by Atle Knudsen and Tonje Voreland
(Monster/NRK)
I was the Production Visual Effects Supervisor on “Kristiania Magical Tivoli Theater”, a 24-episode Christmas calendar TV series for children, directed by Atle Knudsen and Tonje Voreland. I managed and supervised on-set and in post, all the digital visual effects, made by Nordisk Film Shortcut.
The series was set in the early 1900’s in Oslo, Norway - or Kristiania as the city was named back then. The VFX work was primarily large full-CG matte paintings of the city (set in a stylistic look) and set extensions to get the time period correct. The series was released in Norway in December 2021.
